Air. Food. Water.<br \/>From the moment of conception, what does the human body develop in? Water.<br \/>Humans can survive without food for up to 2 weeks. Without water? 3 days.<br \/>What is the human body made of? 60%+ water.<br \/>Here are some more amazing facts.\u00a0 Our MOST needed nutrient is water. Water makes up every cell, tissue and organ in our bodies. <em>Our brains are 70% water.\u00a0 Our blood is 83% water. Our muscles are 75% water; and our lungs, 90% water.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>SO \u2013 if we aren\u2019t getting enough water and are going through life as\u00a0a camel in the desert; how can our bodies feel great, fight off sickness and function at their best? The answer is easy\u00a0\u2013 they can\u2019t.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Here are a few more amazing ways water helps our bodies function:<br \/>&#8211; it maintain normal body temperature<br \/>&#8211; acts as a joint lubricant<br \/>&#8211; carries waste away from blood and tissues<br \/>&#8211; transports nutrients<br \/>&#8211; ensures adequate blood volume<br \/>&#8211; serves as a spinal shock absorber<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8622\" src=\"https:\/\/lindseyfishernc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/man-and-woman-drinking-water-from-bottle-human-body-with-water-to-stop-thirsty-and-dehydration-in-cartoon-flat-illustration-isolated-in-white-background-vector-1024x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"613\" height=\"613\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The thing is, and I hear it all of the time, &#8220;I don&#8217;t like water,&#8221; &#8220;I get tired of plain old water,&#8221; &#8220;I cannot drink that much water.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><br \/>Guess what?! I hear you and I AGREE! \u00a0I get sick of drinking plain old water all of the time too. So, to switch things up, I do things like add cucumbers, watermelon, lemon, lime, orange slices to my water. I make sure that my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Ultra-Premium-Alkaline-Water-Pitcher\/dp\/B00HYEIJLW\/ref=sr_1_6?crid=E9ZWPC17O90Y&amp;keywords=alkaline+pitcher&amp;qid=1683722708&amp;sprefix=alkaline+puitcher%2Caps%2C100&amp;sr=8-6\">alkaline pitcher<\/a> is filled up very single night before I go to bed. <br \/>I also make pitchers of tea. As long as the tea is caffeine free (choose an herbal tea) and does not potentially act as a diuretic, you are good to go! \u00a0Teas can add tons of flavor to that plain water that you get tired of drinking.<br \/>One more idea&#8230;if you have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enchantedoliveoil.com\/\">infused balsamic vinegars<\/a>, add a couple teaspoons to your water. You would be surprised how flavorful! I love to add\u00a0an orange or lemon white balsamics to my water.<br \/>And one more bonus! If you are eating fruits and vegetables, those can help\u00a0too. Most fruits and veggies are primarily\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.onegreenplanet.org\/natural-health\/stay-hydrated-this-summer-by-eating-these-foods\/\">WATER<\/a>!!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Question for parents:<\/span><\/strong> Are your kids drinking enough water?
