Welcome to the starting point for finding your new family member. At Rancho Coastal Humane Society, we specialize in personalized adoption designed to create lifelong matches between people and pets. Our experienced adoption counselors work closely with you to help to find an adoptable animal whose personality is the right fit for your family.
Most Rancho Coastal animals come to us through our Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. We transfer dogs, cats and rabbits from overcrowded shelters throughout the region, giving them a second chance at a forever home.
Rancho Coastal is proud to be part of the San Diego Animal Welfare Coalition, dedicated to ensuring that no healthy or treatable abandoned animal is euthanized because of time or space limitations. Together, we save lives.
