Join us for a howling good time at Monkeybar’s annual Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour.
Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and good boys and girls! This Halloween, we’re raising spirits (and tails) at Monkeybar with a night of howl-iday havoc. Grab your little boo and join us for a night of spooktacular drinks, pup-approved Yappy Hour treats from our dog menu, frightfully fun events and a costume contest with fang-tastic prizes. Astrology and tarot card readings will be available for people and pups by Magikal Maiden, in addition to pet caricature portraits by PoisionousMe. A portion of the night’s sales will benefit Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
Don’t forget to dress up your pup! The Costume Contest will start at 6PM.
Space is limited, so each human will need to sign up to book their free ticket! As always, parking is free with validation.
It’s possible to teach any animal no matter their age! All they need is a little encouragement, patience, and positive reinforcement.
Join us as we go over the basics of positive reinforcement, the mechanics of clicker training, and how rewards (treats, praise, petting, toys, etc.) can make a world of difference. RCHS Foster Manager Lilly Thacker believes training should be fun (for you and your furry friends!). Come learn how to make it a pleasant & productive process for everyone (dogs, cats, rabbits, and beyond!)
All current RCHS fosters, volunteers, staff, and community members are welcome to attend! Whether you are new to animal training, or you are an experienced foster looking for a training refresher, we recommend taking advantage of this FREE presentation! Bring a friend or family member along to share in the “paw-sitive” vibes!
