Rancho Coastal’s Animal Camps are a fun and educational experience led by trained educators that encourage respect and understanding for all living beings. Animal Camps are offered in the Summer, Spring and Fall for children ages 6 – 14.
These camps book up quickly, so watch for registration dates and make your plans!
Give your child more opportunities for hands-on animal fun and learning this fall! We’re excited to offer multiple camp opportunities this year, including October 26–30, November 11, and November 23–25!
Ages: 6–11
Time: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Scholarships: Available. Email our Education Department for application information.
Age Restrictions: Campers must be 6–11 years old by the start of camp. Older children may attend if they wish. All campers stay together throughout the day; groups are not separated by age.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before camp receive a full refund, minus a $30 processing fee per camper.
No refunds are available within 14 days of the camp start date. No exceptions.

Looking for a fun-filled day with animals? Join Rancho Coastal Humane Society for our one-day camp on Martin Luther King Jr. Day: January 18 and President’s’ Day: February 15. Campers will enjoy hands-on animal activities, games, crafts, and plenty of furry fun.

Our Spring Animal Camps are themed, week-long sessions. Using hands-on games, activities, arts and crafts, guest speakers and of course live animals, children are taught about animals and their importance in our world. Each day of camp provides a window into the life of shelter animals, rescued animals, wildlife conservation and animal care!
